Right? She looks stunning is an understatement. I saw this look of hers at Cannes and I was left speechless. And it's not just the looks. It's her confidence that stands out. Maybe, those anarkalis were all part of a big plan. You know the kind of makeover you see on TV and in movies, where the lead actress, even though perfectly beautiful is dressed in sack and when the transformation happens, it's dramatic and blows everyone away. Well played, Ash,well played! She's not hiding behind her curves but owning it. Plus, her hair and her makeup is flawless. I think this look should shut her
critics *cough* me, for a long time. Here's hoping she doesn't go hide behind those dreadful, boring anarkalis again. Safe to say that "sanjana" with that smokin attitude is back?

Remember the "Hi, I am sanjana" pepsi ad. Remember how gorgeous that model was. That was the pre-bollywood, pre-missworld Aishwarya Rai. And whatever happened next to her was all a meh, atleast in my head. Because Sushmita Sen happened. And if there's any team, I am Team Sush. I think anyone growing up in the 90s know what I am talking about. This was before there was even a Team Edward or a Team Jacob ( Aah...Kids these days ;)) . So, there was this unintentional Team Ash and Team Sush that happened. Team Ash was more about the looks and Team Sush was more about beauty with brains. And I, like any loyal team member constantly found fault in whatever Aish's next move was. From her acting skills to her we-are-just-friends crap with some of the actors to her turning into an all-out bahu of Bollywood's first family. She was an easy target. I mean, have you seen those sack-looking Anarkalis that she was seen in all the time? BUT, and it's a big BUT, let's pause and take a look at this pic.
