What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty

I have a hard time remembering the names of authors, but not this one, because she could very well be related to the fictional villain Professor Moriarty of Sherlock :)

Review: You know how all of us grow as individuals and as a couple and how sometimes. we like that part of us and sometimes we don't? Well, this book is about Alice who loses her memory of the last 10 years and thinks she's still 30 and happily in love with her husband and expecting her first baby, when infact, her current life is nothing like that.

And losing your memory, could either work wonders or it could turn into a train wreck. You'll have to find out for yourself which path Alice takes.

I  definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a light yet deep read. A well-written book on the complexities of relationships and marriage with a story you wouldn't forget ;)

Trivia:  I hear Jennifer Aniston is in talks to play Alice. So, grab your book before it turns into a movie.

Let me leave you with a teaser of some amazing quotes from the book:

Best Lines:

“But maybe every life looked wonderful if all you saw was the photo albums.”

“They would think she was savoring the taste (blueberries, cinnamon, cream-excellent), but she was actually savoring the whole morning, trying to catch it, pin it down, keep it safe before all those precious moments became yet another memory.”
